Boost Your Website Ranking With A Blog
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -Boost Your Website Ranking With A Blog
Having a blog will boost your website ranking quickly. Do you have a website that could benefit from a higher search engine ranking? Are all your SEO tactics showing very little results? Did you know that by placing a blog on the same site you’ll be able to gain the attention of the search engines much faster?
Well as simple as this may seem there are a few things you’ll need to do to enjoy the benefits a blog will bring your website.
First let’s quickly discuss the simple 2 step process involved to install a blog on your site:
1st Step
Download, install and run blogging software such as WordPress on the server of your website. This process is fairly easily and comes with clear instructions and support if needed.
2nd Step
Decide where you want to install a blog on your site. Unless the blog is to be the main focus of the site you don’t want to locate it on the main page. By placing it in its own folder you won’t detract from the main page but will still benefit from the search engine boost and traffic it generates.
There you go. You’ve just placed your blog!
Now let’s turn our attention to the 4 things you’ll need to do on your blog to maximize its effectiveness in boosting the sites search engine ranking:
1) Post Frequently
By frequently posting to your blog you will attract search engine ’spiders’ to crawl your site for the fresh content you have posted. Fresh content is the key element for increasing your rankings therefore the ability to post often give your blog a large advantage over a website which is updated infrequently.
2) Ping Every Post
Pinging is a tracking program installed on your blog that notifies search engines that you’ve just posted new content. Once this occurs search engines visit your site to ‘view’ the new post thereby increasing your site ranking with each visit.
In order to be able to ping you’ll need to register with a pinging service such as Technorati for this program to work so do this at set-up. You’ll need to follow the simple instructions to install this on your blog.
3) Use Proper Keyword Placement
The proper use of keywords makes it easier for the search engines to pull up your site in their search results. You want to be sure to use those keywords that are relevant to your post but NOT to overuse them. Search engine spiders pick up on ‘keyword stuffing’ immediately and simply ignore the site as a result. A ratio of 2 to 5 percent keyword usage is a safe range and generally acceptable.
4) Use Links
By having other sites linked to yours the search engines place more relevance on your site. These links are noticed by the spiders when they are visiting other sites. The higher the ranking of the site the greater the relevance search engines will put on yours.
These links can occur by you requesting another site owner to link to yours and you in turn will link back to them. Both sites then benefit. Another method is thru submitting articles with your site link in the resource box. You will gain links from these high ranking article directories sites once your article is published.
As you now hopefully understand, placing a blog on your existing site can quickly boost your website ranking. With just a little effort you’ll experience a ranking increase in no time along with the traffic it generates.

How To Improve Page Rank
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -How To Improve Page Rank - It All Comes Down To One Simple Thing
If you’re one of the millions of people wondering how to improve page rank, there’s some good news. The solution is actually quite simple: you need back links. No single element can affect your rank relative to other sites more than the number and quality of links you have coming in.
First let’s address a common misunderstanding about the term itself. PageRank is Google’s proprietary scoring algorithm used to evaluate the relative importance of pages on the Internet. Page rank is a much more generic term used by many people to refer to how well their pages show up or ‘rank’ for certain search terms. There tends to be a strong correlation between PageRank and page rank, although this isn’t always the case. Suffice it to say that anything that’s good for your PageRank will generally help your rankings with other search engines as well.
Back to the main topic - how to improve page rank. There are many aspects of links that affect the bottom line, but as in so many other areas of life quantity is the most powerful factor. Get more incoming links and your page rank will go up. Links from larger or higher ranking sites will count more, so it’s worth your time to collect those harder-to-get links.
There are plenty of other answers to the question of how to improve page rank - limit the number of outgoing links from your site, keep outgoing links on lower ranked pages within your site, pay careful attention to the text on incoming links, and keep related content together, just to name a few.
But all of these ideas are really secondary to the most basic principle. Get links, get more links, and then get more links. Each one of those links is like a ‘vote’ that your site is important, and the search engines are always trolling around the Internet counting up votes. The more you have, the higher you’ll show in the listings. Invest the time and effort in collecting back links and it will pay dividends down the road. That’s how to improve page rank.

Many Florida Choices, Internet Marketing, Seo Search Engine …
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -Many Florida Choices, Internet Marketing, Seo Search Engine Optimization
You get to choose. The Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean? Theme Park or professional sports? The beach or shopping? Fishing or swimming. You get to choose. After all, we are talking about Florida.
This Sunshine State has a lot to offer and it welcomes an impressive number of visitors every day. Florida has long been known for their wonderful accommodations and brilliant views.
While many may already be familiar with some of the attractions in Florida cyberspace presents a unique opportunity to learn specifics when general knowledge may be all you have.
Websites exist to help answer questions. This Internet marketing strategy relies heavily on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to reach their goal.
Some may think the Sunshine State doesn’t really need to work at advertising on the Internet due to the existing popularity of many attractions, but think about this - prior to the Internet travel agent services were used extensively to help vacationers around the world come to an understanding of what Florida had to offer. They had access to brochures that featured pictures of the incredible beauty of the state and they loved to share them with customers.
Internet marketing makes the same information available online with a unique visual twist. Visitors have access to photos and video tours. They also can look for price comparisons for accommodations and can book reservations in advance of a visit - all from the comfort of home.
Many Florida companies have come to understand the potential in website advertising. These firms include realtors and local shops. Realtors are often heavily involved in online SEO. This arena has been bolstered by the ease of posting details about available properties in coastal communities and they are selling properties using this method.
Think of Search Engine Optimization as a discipline that can be used to attract visitors and improve your firm’s favorability among search engines.
There are some businesses that believe they are successful enough serving a local clientele that they do not need to take their company online. They believe their service or products are only for those who live in their immediate area so why bother with a website.
While there may seem to be some justification for this thought you need to know that many potential customers in your immediate area will still search online first to see what might be available. It is often the perception of online users that if you don’t have a website you must not be as reputable as others who do. While this may not be true, perception often becomes reality for these consumers.
You may not know how to manage the strategies of developing an SEO friendly website. Help is available and it can provide you with sustainable rankings in a search engine environment. Specialists in Search Engine Optimization can help you determine an effective set of keywords or phrases that can help lift your site to a much better online rank while adding focus to your online content.
We opened this article with a lot of choices. While those choices remain your website can help provide the information that will help tourists make some specific choices that are beneficial to you and the state you call home.

Increasing Online Search Engine Traffic
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -Increasing Online Search Engine Traffic
It doesn’t matter whether you have decided to create a brand new website or are merely contemplating the ideas - the main thing is to convince people to visit it! One of the most effective but inexpensive methods of generating online traffic is to learn how to increase your ranking in search engine results. Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a very competitive but straightforward method that can produce long-term targeted traffic without costing you per individual user.
Use Targeted Keywords in Domain Names
Effective SEO involves determining the keywords that relate to the topic of information, product or service you will be providing. Whenever possible, try to match the test used in your domain name to these targeted keywords because this will enable the search engines to understand the purpose of your website. For example, a website entitled "BlueWidgets.com" will be very effective for anyone who happens to be searching for a blue widget. You can choose to include any keywords you like in your domain text, but they will not present you with the same advantage as using targeted keywords.
Include Relevant Content On Your Website
You also need to ensure the content you include on each of your web pages related directly to the specific search terms for which you want to rank highly. This may range from comparing your product to similar alternatives to including testimonials or reviews or explaining your concept or product in detail.
Match Relevant Topics with Title Tags
Every title tag for your website should match the particular topic of each page. Any other pages should contain URLS that match the most important keywords, as well as the title. You can use bold or a larger font for any target search words, but be careful not to overdo it. Over-optimization may be viewed by the search engines as spam which could hurt your ranking. Instead, make sure that every page is readable and useful for all of your online visitors.
Establish Links To Your Website
Another important element to effective SEO is to establish links that lead back to your website from other domains. Many people underestimate the importance of proper link building. If other websites don’t show them where your site exists with a link, search engines will fail to even realise your domain exists. You can increase the ability of these links to improve your search engine rankings by doing the following:
Match the readable text of every link to targeted keywords
Ensure links are located on related pages that discuss similar topics
Try to obtain links from other websites that already have a high ranking
Although the details of the SEO process continue to change on an almost daily basis, it’s very important that you learn the basic strategies involved. The techniques listed above will help you rank higher with the search engines and promote your online business more effectively. Remember that many keywords are very competitive, but you can rank for longer key phrases that ask specific questions by including comprehensive information on your website. As your links to continue to grow and time passes, your site will eventually begin to rank higher for many of the shorter targeted keywords and phrases.

Why Use Search Engine Optimization For Internet Network Marketing?
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -Why Use Search Engine Optimization For Internet Network Marketing?
Search Engine Optimization or SEO is one of the most lucrative ways to drive traffic to a site and in turn make you money in internet network marketing.
Let’s explore this concept and how this can benefit you in growing your internet network marketing business.
SEO focuses on organic search engine traffic. This means that you do not have to spend a cent for paid advertising campaigns like Pay-Per-Click (PPC) on Google, Yahoo, MSN, or any other search engines. All traffic on SEO is free.
Furthermore, SEO traffic is perceived to be of a higher quality compared to PPC. When you search for something on Google, where do you click? Left or right? Most probably the sites listed on the left because it somehow seems more popular or "feels right", right?
That is why SEO is very relevant.
Why is SEO good for your internet network marketing business?
SEO is good for your internet network marketing business because it is generally a low competition market (compared to debt consolidation or credit cards) because not many network marketers are bringing their business online… yet. On the other hand, people who are good with SEO might not get involved in network marketing. They generally prefer to spend more time in front of the computer and they could be afraid of network marketing (either because people have tried to recruit them in the past or they simply dislike the industry for whatever reason).
Simply put, very few network marketers are ‘SEO guys/gals’ and very few SEO guys/gals are network marketers.
So you should be able to get your sites ranked easily. By site, I mean a site you designed or had designed for you. Using the replicated site from you company is not the best thing to do. I’ll explain why in another article.
Here are a few tips you must focus on to get your site ranked easily on the Internet.
Focus on optimizing your site’s and your brand name…not your company’s by writing articles positioning you as a leader. You want to brand yourself and you do that using your site or blog. Submit these article directories like E-zine Articles and other onilne article directories. Remember to use a proper anchor text for your article and your site - e.g. Internet Network Marketing.
Next, you need to target long tail keywords. A long tail keyword example is - "Lose weight with Herbalife" or "How Transfer Factor Works". I will get into how to properly search for long tail keywords in another article.
You can use social networking and marketing sites, such as Squidoo Lenses and Hub Pages, to get traffic and bolster your rankings easily. These two sites are considered high authority sites and you will be able to get traffic if you write good content. There are easily dozens of authority ebooks on the proper way to build hubpages and lenses. You can research that online.
At the end of the day, you don’t need to have a super high ranking site or a blog in order to get traffic. You need to do the small things consistently, like submitting articles and getting links pointing back to your site. The key is to drive traffic no matter which search engine ranking position you are in - it is no point getting rank no.1 if no one is searching for that keyword.

How To Obtain A Higher Search Engine Ranking
Written by admin on January 16, 2009 – 5:05 pm -How To Obtain A Higher Search Engine Ranking
There are many steps you can take to improve the search engine ranking of your website. However, you need to be aware that certain techniques are considered ethical or honest and are referred to as "white hat", whereas others are considered unethical and are called "black hat." Still other effective tools and techniques may fall somewhere in the middle.
You should incorporate static improvements to your website such as organizing keywords density and title tags and including proper meta tags. However, providing fresh content is even more important to ensure spiders continuously find your site. Each time new content is added, the spiders will discover that your site has changed. The data centers will then update the information concerning your site. Search engines such as Yahoo! or Google consider sites that frequently add new content to be active and thus more relevant to online visitors. Search engines apply the very same principle if pages of your website that have been indexed continue to be modified or updated on a frequent basis.
Each time a search engine visits your website and discovers new content, it will recrawl your entire site. Search engines also consider how often your website content is updated and maintained when they assign a particular ranking. You may be wondering if there is a difference between adding new content to your website or merely altering existing content. One simple solution is to ensure the existing content of your web pages are automatically modified.
You can include a minor change to the code on your web pages to that the content will change with every page refresh. Crawling spiders will detect new online content, and they will return periodically to ensure their index is current. As soon as they discover that a web page has changed, the spiders will establish a new date to recrawl your site. The advantage is that the new date will be even sooner than the last one. When they revisit your site, they will discover once again that your site has changed. This will cause them to recrawl your site even sooner, at which point they will see even more new changes. Although some spiders have an hourly or daily crawl limit, this loop will continue indefinitely. This can help you to greatly increase your search engine rankings in a very short period of time.
